E.- Video Recommendation of the Week: |
1.- Berklee Commencement 2011: Kenny Garrett, Honorary Doctor of Music, Speaks to the Class of 2011 |
This is a very inspiring speech that Maestro Kenny Garret, a great sax player, gave to the graduates from Berklee 2011. I think that us -as musicians (guitar players)- need to always consider ourselves as students, just as Maestro Garret mentions the great Miles Davis was. There is a lot of truth in his words. Some of the sentences he says you maybe heard them many times but there is a difference: When someone is truthful and he has done what he says, the words have a real impact while the void sentences are lost in the air. |
